Pipe in pipe PE-Xc

Description

PE-Xc enhances flexibility and thermal memory, providing easy handling. GPP’s polyethylene PE-Xc pipes are crosslinked by using a high voltage electric beam which, together with the PE-Xa manufacturing method, consists of the most stable and optimal crosslinking methods. Together, they enhance the pipe’s flexibility and thermal memory, making it easier to handle. The jacket pipe in which the PE-X pipe is inserted is made of low-density corrugated polyethylene (LDPE), allowing the pipe to withstand rugged job site conditions. The LDPE jacket contains a minimum 2.5% carbon black for UV protection. When buried, the corrugated shape plays a significant role in the pipe’s resistance to thermal expansion.
